About Fabric Cuts

The Keepsakes Stitchery Store offers four standard fabric cuts. One of the four standard cuts will usually meet the fabric requirements for most cross stitch projects with a minimum of fabric waste.

Lower Price
Standard Cuts are priced lower than Custom Square-Inch cuts. Standard cuts produce no waste fabric and require less time and effort to cut.

For projects requiring a smaller piece of fabric or unusual dimensions, a Custom Square-Inch cut may be just the ticket.

Beginning at a minimum of 10" x 10", the length and width can be increased separately in increments of two(2) inches. This allows you to select dimensions that almost perfectly match the requirements for your project.

Compare Prices
Always compare the price of a Custom Square-Inch Cut against the closest Standard Cut to make sure you are not paying too much. Square Inch cuts are priced higher because they always create waste fabric, and they require more time and effort to cut.

But then, for an expensive piece if linen, or if you're tired of those odd pieces of fabric cluttering your stitching corner, then a Custom Square-Inch cut may be just what you need!
