Military Framing
At Keepsakes its not just a bunch of old war stuff. We research the meaning of each metal, pin, and uniform patch, why it was awarded, and what it means. We listen to the stories people tell us when they bring in these treasures. We strive to create a final presentation which displays the metals and patches in the correct order and placement which matches how they were originally worn. It goes without saying that military framing at Keepsakes always receives the very best in conservation grade framing materials and techniques. It seems like such a small thing to give back to those who have given so much.
He was a Captain in the Army, he fought, was captured, survived, and lived to tell his son the story.. His son, in return, had us construct this tribute to his father's service and his sacrifice.   captain
This flag flew on a destroyer at Pearl Harbor. Seldom do we see such an incredible piece of American history in our shop. For many years this flag sat in a closet, now it is on proud display. ussbreeze
He was a co-pilot on a B-24 bomber. He didn't come home. His sister wanted to preserve his memory, and honor his sacrifice. b_24
A young boy working at Union Terminal during World War II meets many military people on their way to and their way from. He asks them to send military patches back to him. He develops an impressive collection, many of which are now rare and hard to find. We transformed it from a bunch of patches in an old cigar box, to the presentation seen here. It is scheduled to be on display at Union Terminal some time this year. patches
He served in an Armoured Division, Pattons 3rd Army, World War II. He fought, survived, came home, and was just glad it was all over. He never wanted to talk about it. armoured
