As great ideas usually do, it happened completely by accident! During Stitch-Con 2022, our "thread whisperer" Susan Coates offered to pull together a project for a few attendees who were feeling adventurous.

Armed with a budget and an idea of what these stitchers liked to stitch, Susan gathered patterns, fabric and floss and created one-of-a-kind project kits. Word spread like wildfire and everyone wanted a "Susan Surprise" kit!
